Success for Dursley Duo at British Judo Championships

Brothers Alexander and Ryan Salman achieved a fantastic result at the British Judo Championships in December!
Ryan earned a gold medal and is now the reigning 2018 Cadet U73kg British Champion, and Alexander came away with a silver medal in the U60kg weight group.
According to their mum, Lynn, “everything went right for them on the day, and that has a lot to do with the extra strength and conditioning training they have been doing at The Pulse over the last few months.”
We sponsor Alexander and Ryan’s memberships at The Pulse as part of Stroud District Council’s Elite Athlete scheme, allowing them to fit in as much training as they need.
The brothers have been selected to represent Great Britain at championships in Bremen, Germany this month, and the Czech Republic in April. From everyone at The Pulse, we’d like to wish them both the best of luck and can’t wait to see how they get on!
