Have Your Say on the Future of Leisure in Stroud District!

Pulse News - 4 April 2024

Stroud District Council is seeking resident input on the new service they will be adopting from Autumn 2024.

Stroud District Council is seeking residents’ views on the new leisure, health and wellbeing service the council will be adopting from the Autumn 2024, when the council becomes responsible for the day-to-day management of Stratford Park Leisure Centre in addition to The Pulse in Dursley.

Initially, as part of understanding what the local community would like to see as part of the future of a leisure, health and wellbeing service, we are looking for people who currently use/have used the centres, as well as people who don’t but might consider doing so in the future.

The survey will take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete and will close at 5pm on the 15th April 2024.

As well as the survey, we will be hosting focus group sessions. These groups will give residents the opportunity to discuss the future service of the leisure, health and wellbeing provision. These meetings will be online and in person. After showing interest detailed in the survey the focus group people will be chosen at random to attend the meetings. Attendees will receive a £20 Amazon voucher. Any e-mails given will only be used as part of this exercise. However, you may be contacted by the Council or by Alliance Leisure Ltd who will be given access to your details.
