If your family is dreading the return to school after a long summer, our wellbeing workshop with Mandy Johnson will arm you with the tools you and your children need to feel calmer and more relaxed during the school day.

Mindfulness is scientifically proven to help relax, distress and reduce anxiety. In this workshop, Mandy will teach you and your child how to be mindful and introduce you to meditation through stories.
Throughout the session, you’ll learn strategies that engage mind and body with breath activities to reduce stress and promote health and wellness.
Practicing mindfulness has many benefits, helping children learn to focus, regulate their emotions, manage stress and create a positive outlook. It also promotes gratitude, patience and kindness. Molly Monkey will also make a guest appearance!

"The whole school took part in well-being day today and we were lucky enough to have our own little workshop with the wonderful Miss Johnson who guided us through some simple breathing exercises to help us feel calm and relaxed. We were astounded as adults to observe how focused and engrossed the children were at doing this. Mandy Johnson BA (Hons) PGCE LLAM (Hons) M Ed DipBSoM and Mindful Life Coach is an award winning practitioner and regularly teaches Mindful Meditation at Primary and Secondary schools throughout Gloucestershire, using her own approach that also incorporates NLP, sound and Drama as therapy for Emotional well-being.
