Ryan Heads to European Youth Olympics!

Dursley teen Ryan Salman, who previously triumphed at the British Judo Championships, has been selected by Team GB and British Judo to fight at the European Youth Olympics in Baku, Azerbaijan. This has been Ryan’s dream for many years, and what he has been training for!
He is just one of 10 Judo competitors chosen, and will be not only representing the UK at the event, but also his local Bradley Stoke Judo Club, who have sent three fighters over to Azerbaijan.
Ryan, who is sponsored by The Pulse as part of Stroud District Council’s Elite Athlete scheme, will be fighting on Thursday. From everyone at The Pulse, we’d like to wish him the best of luck and look forward to hearing how he gets on!
