Our Reopening Road Map

COVID-19 Updates - 12 March 2021

We've almost made it! We hope you're all as excited as we are about the government's 'back to life' road map, and we've got plans in place to open our doors to the public once again.

We will reopen on a phased basis, following the latest government guidelines. All dates are subject to change, dependent on the current guidance, and we will keep everyone updated through our website, Facebook and Instagram.

Step 1 – Monday 29 March

From Monday 29 March, we'll be able to introduce outdoor classes! Our outdoor fitness programme will be as follows:

Monday
6.00pm–7.00pm: Pilates (The Chantry Centre Gardens)

Tuesday
6.00pm–7.00pm: Yoga (The Chantry Centre Gardens)
6.15pm –7.00pm: Circuits (The Rec)

Friday
5.45pm–6.30pm Bootcamp (The Rec)

Saturday
9.15am–10.15am Pilates (The Chantry Centre Gardens)

Sunday
8.15am–9.00am Bootcamp (The Rec)

All classes are £5 (free for members after 12 April) and can be booked either via the app or by calling us on 01453 546441. If you cannot get through, please leave a voicemail and a member of the team will call you back.

Step 2 – Monday 12 April

The pool and gym will be open once again to both members and non-members! The following sessions will be included:

  • Lane Swimming (but unfortunately not Swim Fit at this time)
  • Public Swimming
  • Children’s Swimming Lessons

We will also be able to provide Children’s Dance Classes again in the studio.

Our outdoor classes will continue, as well as our virtual classes while the studio remains closed.

Step 3 – Monday 17 May
Studio and water fitness classes are back!

Step 4 – Monday 21 June
As restrictions start to lift, we will be implementing a phased approach to expand our programme and the number of people we can have in The Pulse at any one time.

Membership information

If you are a Pulse member, your membership will restart on Monday 12 April. If you pay by Direct Debit, your payment will be collected on Monday 5 April. You will only be paying for 12 April–4 May for this period, so the amount will be reduced. If the re-opening date is delayed, then the payment on Wednesday 5 May will be adjusted to reflect this. For example, if we are told by the government it is not safe to open until 19 April, then we will reduce May’s membership payment by 7 days.

Memberships that have been prepaid in full for the year or prepaid monthly memberships will restart on Monday12 April and days owed will be allocated to the membership from that date.

Lastly, we have put together a small survey for members who have made use of our On Demand/Live classes during lockdown. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and it should only take two minutes to complete! Click here to take the survey.
