Lockdown Update – 5 November 2020

COVID-19 Updates - 5 November 2020

Due to the second lockdown announcement, we will unfortunately be closing the doors to our leisure centre as of Thursday 5 November. However, we will be reopening on Thursday 3 December, following the latest information from the government.

How does this affect you?

We don’t want anyone to miss out on their paid memberships or swimming lessons during the lockdown, so we’ve broken down the information you need to know so that you can make the most out of your sessions when we reopen.

Members

Any time lost due to the temporary closure will be automatically added onto the end of your membership – this includes rolling, monthly and pay-as-you-go memberships, which were activated at the time of The Pulse’s closure.

  • Prepaid members – we will be adding your time onto your membership so that you can use it post-lockdown.
  • Direct Debit members – your November payment will have been processed due to the bank being notified of the payment run. Don’t worry, we will not take any money from you in December.
  • Renewals – if your membership is due for a renewal, our team will contact you individually via email.
  • Frozen members – if your membership is currently frozen, you are not required to do anything as this membership freeze continues into 2021.

All memberships that are currently active will be automatically reactivated when we reopen. View our full COVID-19 terms and conditions here.

Non-Members

We have been contacting non-members and offering credit or refunds for your bookings. If you have not yet heard from our team, please email us at hello@pulsedursley.co.uk

Swimming Lessons

The following information applies to all of our swimming lessons at The Pulse. Swimming lessons will start again on Thursday 3 December – should our temporary closure be extended, our team will be in touch.

  • Prepaid lessons – if you have any prepaid lessons booked in from 5 November to 3 December, these will remain in your account until we reopen.
  • Direct debit – the November payment has already been processed and activated. Don’t worry, we will not take any money from you in December.
