#FitnessFriday – Spring Fitness Tips

Fitness Friday - 29 March 2019

Spring has officially sprung, and with warmer and longer days on the horizon, there’s no better time to supercharge your fitness plans for the rest of the year.

If you’ve been struggling to get exercising throughout the winter, we’ve got some top tips to help you get back into the swing of things.

1) Change up your playlist
Have you had the same songs on your workout playlist for the last 12 months? It’s time to sort out your Spotify and get some new tracks on there! When your playlist becomes boring, it can stop being motivating and may halt your progress instead. So, switch things up and try some new playlists.

2) Take a trip to the park
If you usually work out inside, then head to the park and try a run or a walk in the great outdoors. You might actually end up spending more time exercising without even realising it.

3) Gym user? Why not try a swim or a class?
If you’re typically a gym user, swapping out one of your sessions for a swim or a class can be a great way to stop yourself from getting bored. If you’re a Pulse member, then you receive unlimited access to our classes and public swimming sessions, so dive in!

4) Plan your workout schedule
No matter how you prefer to work out, whether it’s inside or outside, make sure you’ve got it scheduled in to your week. If bad weather hits when you’re not expecting, then use the time you would be spending outside to work out indoors, either at home or at The Pulse.

5) Treat yourself to some new gear!
If your workout gear’s looking a bit tired this year, why not change things up a bit and treat yourself to some new kit? New workout gear can be a fantastic motivator, and we’ve got some great new styles in stock at The Pulse. Also, don’t forget that Pulse members get 10% off at Bosom Buddies Sportswear!
